So, to this weekend’s clash, in what could prove to be a crucial result in determining where LaLiga’s prized title finally resides this season.

Los Blancos come into this Game ten points clear of their neighbours (the same difference back to usual title contenders Barcelona) with the most likely challenger for the crown the surprise package from Girona.

Given recent form this is a really tough one to call for me.

That said, I’m expecting a deafening noise at the Bernabéu to prove the deciding factor, that oft-cited 12th man, but it will not be plain sailing. For that reason, I predict Madrid 3-1 Atlético, with a late gloss being put on a battling performance with not much to choose between the teams.
