Arsenal defender's agent responds to January transfer speculation

The agent of Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has cooled speculation he could leave the Emirates this month. Kiwior joined Arsenal from Spezia Calcio for £21m in January 2023 but has struggled for regular minutes, featuring 16 times in the Premier League and being handed just four starts so far this season. That lack of minutes has brought reports of interest back in Serie A, with AC Milan repeatedly named as suitors for Kiwior, but the Poland international's agent has stressed his confidence that the 23-year-old will remain at Arsenal. "Kuba is an Arsenal player, he has a valid contract and, according to all our information, he is a 'player for years', 99% sure he stays in London," Pawel Zimonczyk told TVP Sport . "We have specific inquiries about Kuba from many clubs, but everything is decided by Arsenal and their position is clear. Kuba stays at Arsenal. "The club's position has not changed in any way since May. Kuba is still an important part ...

Manchester United will not trigger an extension option in the contract of centre-back Raphael Varane, according to a report , but still hope to see the Frenchman stay beyond this season. Varane was brought to Old Trafford to much fanfare in the summer of 2021, having won four Champions League titles with Real Madrid and the 2018 World Cup with France. Varane is one of United's top earners and the Daily Mail suggests that finances have motivated the decision not to automatically extend his contract on its current terms. Instead, the club remain open to the 30-year-old staying longer-term on reduced wages and plan to engage in such talks during January. At this point, Varane is also now eligible to discuss...

West Ham interested in Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao

West Ham remain keen to bring in a new central defender in January, 90min understands, with Udinese's Rodrigo Becao one of a number of players under consideration. Interest in Everton's Michael Keane was previously revealed by 90min, with West Ham keen to strengthen their options at the back despite bringing in promising Sao Paulo prospect Luizao at the beginning of the month. David Moyes' desire to add further depth is perhaps an indication that the Hammers are prepared to allow Craig Dawson to join Wolves - 90min followed up on the interest from Julen Lopetegui's side on Friday morning - if the terms are right, though it's likely a move will only be sanctioned once a replacement has been sourced. As it stands, Moyes isn't close to making a signing, despite the interest in Becao, but the Scot did confirm in his latest press conference that an offer had been received, and 'not accepted', for 32-year-old Dawson. Sources have told 90min that 26-year-ol...
