Liverpool have been dealt a hammer blow in their pursuit of the Premier League title with Alisson sustaining a fresh hamstring injury, according to a report. The Reds are due to face Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium in Saturday's early kick-off, but it seems they will have to make do without their starting goalkeeper. The Mirror report Alisson has picked up a hamstring injury in training and will not take on the Bees this weekend, with a race against time now on for the Brazilian to return to fitness ahead of next Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. Liverpool also host Luton Town on Wednesday in their last Premier League Game before their trip to Wembley. Alisson missed the Reds' 3-1 victory at home to Burnley last weekend having fallen ill, with Joe Gomez also absent with the flu.
