Real Madrid face city rivals Atlético Madrid in the opening semi-final of the 2023/24 Spanish Super Cup, with a final against either Barcelona or Osasuna awaiting the winner.

Madrid, who have lifted the Super Cup twice since its change to a four-team format, are bidding to reclaim the trophy after losing last year’s final to Barça.

Atlético, meanwhile, are out to reach the final for the first time since they were beaten by Madrid in the expanded Super Cup’s inaugural title decider, in 2019/20.
