Bournemouth confirm signing of Dango Ouattara

Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of forward Dango Ouattara on a five-and-a-half year deal from Ligue 1 side Lorient.

90min reported last week that Bournemouth were one of five Premier League clubs interested in signing Ouattara, and the Cherries have now got their man.

Speaking to the club's official website after finalising the move, Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said:

On this edition of Talking Transfers, Scott Saunders hosts Toby Cudworth & Graeme Bailey to discuss all the big transfer stories. This week's agenda includes Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Hakim Ziyech, Leandro Trossard, Pedro Porro, Mykhaylo Mudryk and more!

"We are pleased to secure the services of Dango, a promising and sought-after player with a great deal of potential.

“We have been monitoring him for a period of time and he fits the profile of the young, ambitious, hungry and hard-working player this club is looking to recruit. Bill has outlined his ambitious plans for the club and the signing of an exciting prospect like Dango is testament to the direction he is looking to take us.”
